Privacy Policy

BEPHOTO SRL, publisher of the bephoto.be, bebooth.be, Bebooth and Badge Generator websites and applications, processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 27 April 2016, applicable since 25 May 2018.

What data do we collect?

Depending on the service provided, we mainly collect: your identification data (surname, first name, address, date and place of birth), your financial data (bank account and related information) and your socio-demographic data (civil status, family situation). We do not process any sensitive data (health, political opinions, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin). If photo sharing involves minors, we may process the surname, first name and/or date of birth of those children.

Applications & TrueDepth API

Our Bebooth and Badge Generator applications use the camera and Apple's TrueDepth API solely to track the head and face and enable augmented-reality filters. No information collected by the TrueDepth API leaves the device or is stored on it persistently. We do not collect any personal data through our applications. Any access to your photo library is used solely to save your photos to your device.

For what purposes do we use this data?

We process data on the following legal bases: (1) entering into a business relationship (obligations under the anti-money-laundering law of 18 September 2017); (2) performing a contract or an assigned task; (3) serving our legitimate interests (exercising our right of defence). Uses include administration, billing, legal, tax and social obligations, and the protection of our rights and those of our clients.

How long do we retain your data?

Your data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Some data is retained to fulfil our legal obligations; the retention period is then set by law. At the end of this period, the data is deleted.

Data sharing

We may share your data with external processors and collaborators (only the data necessary for their task) and with a public authority when legally required. Any sharing with a processor is governed by a binding contract, and we ensure that our partners comply with the GDPR.

Information security

Technical and organisational measures (firewalls, internal access controls) protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and destruction. All collected data is stored on a secure network, and our providers also comply with the GDPR.
